Does it annoy you that people are complaining about a possible fire warning...?

We received a text message yesterday saying that there was expected high winds today and the temp was going to be very high so keep posted to local radio stations.

All I have heard today is people winging that there was no reason for it as the temps were not as high as expected and everything was fine (thankfully).

I actually heard someone mention the boy who cried wolf scenario.

Would you rather be warned unnecessarily than have a repeat of the Victorian bush fires (or any other type of disaster) ?

I cannot believe that people would even think about winging about it. do you agree ?

That's Aussies for you, whinge about everything!

I agree! Didn't anybody learn anything from what happened at Kinglake etc.?! Fire is unpredictable!
How were the Vic Police supposed to know the temp wasn't going to be that high- they aren't bloody psychics! In my opinion, anything they can do to help is much appreciated! If I spend $50 on petrol getting my family & precious possessions out of the area and nothing happens, big deal! I'm still alive aren't i???

THANK YOU TO THE POLICE, FIREFIGHTERS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR CONTINUALLY DOING THEIR BEST TO HELP. IT IS APPRECIATED MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW :-)

I think its kind of rude to complain about it but really it does help those that live out in the country and have no way of knowing.
