Does it cost more to route Verizon Fios to multiple TVs, as opposed to just one?

You will need a set top box for each TV for a separate signal.

I did get around that for a certain part of the house with a HDMI amplifier/splitter. The other room has in it an infrared repeater to relay the signals to the box. Two TVs get the same signal. Remote war on. ;)

So in essence yes you need boxes to get full access. You can network route some things, but you will have limited access to TV.
