Does it make you LOL when commentators call him "shabby Alonso" instead of...

..."Xabi Alonso"? I mean he does look shabby (a rustled warrior look) and it suits him- but I LOL everytime when they say that
@Kev and Dan- I think its rightly to be pronounced as "Jabby Alonso"
most call him Jabby Alonso- hmmm interesting
 
I know.... It's annoying when commentators can't get it right.

There is an ITV commentator that says Benyanoun instead of Benayoun. The way he says it is so funny as if it's the right way of saying it.

Some commentaters call him "Chabi", "Jabi" but "Shabby"is the correct way...
 
It IS pronounced like "shabby" where he's from. In the Basque area of Spain, that's the correct pronounciation.

In the majority of Spain there isn't a SH sound so he gets called Chabby a lot. I can't understand the Jabby pronounciation though?
