Does Jesus' imminent return preclude real space travel?

I'm just thinking that if Jesus delayed for a long time, we'd develop real space travel, and significant numbers of us might be far away when Jesus comes back. Does that suggest that Jesus will return before we get that sophisticated with our technology? Or would he just draw everyone back to himself no matter where they happened to be?
 
Or maybe space travel in itself is just another big hint that there is no God
 
God is God, no matter where we are. "Neither height, nor depth...", remember? i think it will probably be sooner, but have no worries about Him "losing" anyone.
