They were a few signs of it like when he ask back for his sister from Terry ,Terry refuse and laocorn gets vex and nearly beat him to death,I know he wanted to stop her from getting help from Terry and the rest but when he found out the location for the last piece of the armor he ask to bring her along with the pendant I mean Why? He should just retrieve the pendant from her and done with that he shouldn't have bother to bring her along.
