...thinking about the future? So here is a quick synopsis. My bf and I have started pondering the possibilities of a future together, but the logistics are complicated. He travels for a living and is from a small, northern town across the country from where I live. He has told me that he hoped I would travel with him and then when we wanted to start a family live in his small town. He really enjoys traveling for work (working town-to-town for up to 10 months out of the year), but I am 31 so we would need to start a family in a few years. He is 28. The nature of his job would allow me to work with him (for my family's business), but I don't know if I would still be able to work for my family business when we settled across the country. The town he is from is so small, it would be hard for me to find work if I had to, although he would probably support me and our family. We are in love and are hopeful, but the circumstances are so difficult. I sometimes wonder if finding someone else that lives near me and doesn't travel would be easier, but would I be as happy? You would be suprised to see where life and love will take you. Sometimes you need to stop thinking with your head and start thinking with your heart. Life is to short to always do the "logical" thing. Do what makes you unbelievingly HAPPY! You deserve that much
