I have a 2003 Pontiac Vibe that I just bought used with 60,000 miles. When I'm driving in the city, I don't have a lot of problems accelerating. But when I am driving either in a highly inclined area or on the interstate, I will have my accelerator floored and my car will barely creep up in speed. The floor mat doesn't seem to be affecting it in any way. Is there any reason that accelerator needs to be pulled out away from the floor? What should I do?
