Does my BMW have Xenon Lights?

Hey I have a BMW 2001 E39 525i, the headlights look like this:

-However the thing is, is that when I turn on my car the lights dont auto level(move up then down then level), I dont know if thats a feature of Xenon headlights or not. Is there a place in the car where i can see if its equipped with xenon or not? It has angel eyes aswell.
 
There are quite a few different options with the E-39 as some have composite lamps, some have xenon w/o auto level and some have xenon with auto level, and also there are some different versions of the amber corner marker lens too! ADDED if they are xenon when you first turn the lights on there will be a quick flash an they will be either green or pink for about 10-15 seconds and then they will turn very bright!
