Does my dog have gingivitis? He is a 6 year old maltese male. He has very bad breath and has plaque even though I brush his teeth daily. So going into the ginigivitis. I only the symtom of the immflamation of the gums. And if he does have gingivitis, what can I do? (Going to the vet is not an option. I don't have the money.)

You can teach him to gargle with listerine after brushing because listerine kills 99% of bacteria that cause plaque and gingavitis.
