Does my mom have cystic fibrosis?

My mom is in her mid-forties and has started feeling like her airway is closing ten years ago. This has gotten more severe and she has short breath on a regular basis. Sometimes she wakes up in the middle of the night because she has difficulties breathing. Is this cystic fibrosis?
