No, he only injures her though, but thanks to that Naruto starts to turn into the 9 Tails, and Pain tries to lure Naruto into the forest so he could capture him which leaves Hinata lying there. So Sakura heals her up, and she's later shown concious and alive cheering and crying that Naruto won and is alive along with the rest of the village.
