Does "phone kit" mean the cellphone's the prepaid kind, not the postpaid?

I just scanned the Sunday paper this morning when my eye caught an advert form Globe regarding the BlackBerry Curve 8520. You can get it free if you want to pay PHP2500 or PHP3799/month as postpaid. Below the postpaid rates, I read that "also available, handset only for PHP14,995". I checked Globe's official web regarding the Curve 8520, and it says "Phone kit price available". I was thinking maybe it means that the Curve's also available on prepaid. So my quessie is this: do both quoted statements mean exactly the same thing?

So far, my savings' almost at the exact amount the BlackBerry costs as a handset. This phone's better and budget-friendly than saving up PHP38,850 for a prepaid 16GB iPhone 3GS for almost a year from now. Thanks in advance.
