when i do my forehand i tend to move my wrist a lot because i try to be as relaxed as possible

Ive seen a lot of roger federers forehand and i noticed he kind of move his wrist a lot, i mean from when he takes his racquet back to the contact point...
Is this bad or do I just need more practice???

Yes to create topspin you have to move your wrist. Watch this:

you do move your wrist but don't break it or bend it to much because you shot will be messed up. Watch this video to understand Federers forehand it really helps. :)

If you watch his wrist, it is actually staying quite firm through the whole swing, until right up to the contact point. He puts a little extra action on the ball with a slight wrist motion (though his wrist is still very firm). Only after contact has been made does his wrist break from the position it was in through the entire swing. I actually don't see too much motion in his wrist during the backswing. Extra motion here is just wasted energy, and more opportunity for inconsistencies.

You don't really want to have a limp wrist when you swing, and you definitely don't want to flick your wrist during the swing for either extra power or extra spin. This is probably the fastest way to a wrist injury from tennis. Now, limp and relaxed can be two different things. Relaxed is good, but you should also have a firm wrist through the whole motion.
