Browns agreed to terms with Shaun Rogers on a six-year, $42 million contract. $20 million is guaranteed and he'll make $23 million in the first three years. Replacing Tommy Kelly as the highest paid defensive tackle in the league. Acquiring Rogers in a trade was a gamble, and this ups the ante. Rogers may fit better in Cleveland's 3-4 defense than in Detroit, but he struggled with weight and motivation right after his last big contract. There's no doubt Cleveland's line is vastly improved though.

thoughts?

If he commits and gets himself in shape, he will be worth it without a doubt.

he doesnt deserve that money since he takes plays off , is out of shape and doesnt play all out , if he could get in shape and play all out he could be dominant , but he doesnt , so i dont think he deserves all that money

If they can get him to play hard he is worth every penny. He is the best DT in the league when he wants.

If he stays fat and lazy like he was in Detroit he is hugely overpaid.

Personally I would want to sign him to short contracts or low base pay with huge performance bonuses so he is motivated to play hard to earn his money.

he definatly deserves top 3 highest paid, and you can definatly make an argument for being the highest paid. If you don't think hes deserving of it, I think your wrong
