Does the Iphone 3G AppleCare plan cover cracked screens?

I've had a 3G iPhone for about 6/7 months but i got a new one during December when it broke. They gave me a new one for free but i then got the Care Plan just incase of a bad accident. I just now accidently cracked my screen when it feel out of my pocket and landed on the floor. Does the Care Plan cover this?
I plan on going to Apple and not at&t.
They are pretty good with giving me new free stuff if anything breaks.
 
It doesn't cover physical damage. I was just over at AT&T on Tuesday and asked them this specific question.
 
No they do not cover any physical damage, lost or stolen iphone. All the apple care plan is to extend 1 yr instead of their initial 90day warranty.

Which only covers, battery defects, dust getting inside the screen, hardware issues such as audio speaker. Other than that, you are out of luck.

The best iphone care plan is from squarestrade. Which offers fixing your iphone, replacing cracked screens or they will replace NEW iphone 3g if they failed to fix it. Your cost? 10% of your iphone retail priced.

I would stay away from the apple care insurance.. They are worthless.. your iphone 3g already have 1yr full manufacturer warranty. If you will buy extended insurance I would go check squaretrade first.
