Does the iPod Nano use the standard 1/8" stereo phone plug for earphones?

I can get the iPod Nano through AirMiles Rewards, but I want to use my good on-the-ear headphones instead of the ones that come with it. I need to know ahead of time that the iPod Nano uses a standard stereo plug. That info is not on the Apple website.
 
Hmm, it should be on their site - I guess that's just assumed.

But yes, all iPods use the standard 1/8" jack.

The only mainstream players that I've seen that don't are last year's cell phones.
