Does the KH: Chain of Memories strategy guide work for the PS2 remake?

Hello, I have Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories for PS2, and there isn't an official guide released for the PS2 version, but there IS one for the original GBA game. Is the remake close enough that it would help or is it really changed around?
