Does the new Telus network have delayed text messages?

About 3 years ago I switched from the old Telus network to Bell, because of delayed text messages. Texts would be delayed up to 5 hours in some cases. Now that my contract with Bell is almost up, I was thinking about switching back to Telus. But I was wondering if any Telus customers on the new network have troubles with delayed text messages? I'm in Sudbury, Ontario, where coverage seems to be good (according to the network map on their website)
 
Just wondering if you figured out if the new telus network experiences delayed texts?

some msgs are delayed and some are not received at all.
i was just testing it with my sister an hour ago, she's with FIDO.
we were texting each other side by side just to see if text msgs were delayed..
and as expected, some msgs were not received at all.
this is quite frustrating! 2 out of 5 msgs were delievered 20 min late!
i tried a total of 20 msgs. good thing i have unlimited
