i got the iphone 3g at the apple store not activated yet(with the help of a friend), so can the tmobile sim card work in it.

If your iphone is an Unlocked iphone 3g,you can use any network in the phone ..you can also use T-mobile sim card...If it is a locked phone,you need to unlock it to use tmobile network..Without unlocking it you cannot use other network...Visit the site Theunlockarena.com get remote unlock service and unlock it easily.You need to specify the current network,country it is locked now and get the remote unlock service and unlock iphone 3g and use tmobile network....To check whether locked or an unlocked iphone ,you can insert the tmobile sim card if it accepts its an unlocked phone.Otherwise it says "enter Unlock code" or "invalid Sim" it is a locked phone..You need to unlock your iphone 3g to use tmobile sim card.
