Does the TWOm require a Verizon data plan?

I'm looking a new phone and I don't want to pay for a data plan so I need a feature phone from verizon. I like the Crux and the TWOm but i don't know if i need a data plan to get the full experience. Does anyone know? Any input on the feature phones?

pantech crux is a GR8 fone, my cousin has it and i played around wit it
get the KIN TWOm if u a big txter tho
 
For the TWOm you might need a 10$ data plan, go to the Verizon Store to make sure, but you will NOT need the $30.00 one

DO the Same for the Crux but for both i know you will NOT need the 30.00 plan since its a feature phone not a Smartphone
