today i finally got a blood glucose meter to test my blood sugar.
I got the meter from a friend at work whose husband has diabetes.
I measured it about 45 min after eating, but it was only so she could show me how it worked before she went home.
For lunch i had 4 chicken tenders with breading, honey mustard and sweet baby rays sauce, and a root beer can of soda.
my reading said my blood glucose was 234mg/dl
I know your suppose to wait 2 hours before testing it when eating a meal...but is that a normal range for the time elapsed?
if your a diabetic, this would also help.
