Does using AIM messenger on t-mobile dash connected with wi-fi charge my to-go plan?

I am connected to my internet using wi-fi on the Dash. does it take away money if I sign on to AIM or MSN? (internet works fine)
 
if your connect through your provider you will pay, if through another network it's not
