I have 5 dogs and they bark for a very brief time when I am putting them into the car when we are going out for a walk. Can I be fined for noise pollution as my neighbours are complaining, we do not get on and they complain about everything I do.

can anyone help me
fred

yes your neighbours can complain and you will be given warnings by ur local council.

try buying a citronella collar , works well! dont tell the dogs off when they bark, they will learn that u are grumpy and this gives them more reason to bark( to get rid of whats stressing you out) instead take control and be the top dog

Well...ask them to use sound proof glasses. Hell with non compassionate neighbors... pets are lovely animals and behave just like kids....they will make noise but training could help discipline them.

They can complain but really if it's not excessive (as in constantly) and after a certain time in the a.m.(not sure of the times you would have to check where you live)and after a certain time p.m..
Around are area it's after 10pm at night for excessive noise. They can't really call to complain about the noise until after 10pm.

I don't think they could do much about it unless it's constantly. Call your animal control, Government housing office, or authority's & see what they say. You could make the call anonymous if you like. This way you'll know ahead of time where you stand on the issue.

And don't feel bad, a few of our chickens just started crossing the road to the neighbors yard & they are not hurting anything just eating some bugs & he's complaining.
