if you dont know what commedia de l'atte is, please look it up. i hope i've spelt it right..
but basically it's an italian style of theatre...

for my year 10 assessment this semester, we are doing a production. my character is called Maria and she is, basically, an angry old mother, who is trying to find her son throughout most of the scenes.
the majority of my scenes are basically just about me yelling over the where-abouts of my son, Spavento, is, and then almost violently asking people where he is.
we dont actually have a script for this play, we are just told basically what needs to be said in the scene i suppose...so ive come up with a few things myself.
For example, in my first scene I am meant to walk on stage and talk about how my son has responsibilities in Spain and that he should be with me, then I demand his whereabouts from another character, Allechinno, who has NO idea, so I walk off frustrated.

My teacher says to involve the audience and what not,
basically what I've got so far is this:

(yelling)"oh that spavento, he's always running off like this! who is to take care of me? who is to bathe me, and pluck the hairs of my moustache, and massage my feet, and smooth out my wrinkles! who is to take care of his poor dying old mother.......i could be dying........nevertheless, he should be with ME and his RESPONSIBILITIES in SPAIN."
then i go up to a person in the audience and say
"YOU. I can see the look on your face, you are guilty, GUILTY. WHERE IS MY SON?! *holding shoulders* I KNOW YOU KNOW WHERE HE IS. ARE YOU HIDING HIM FROM ME? you evil man, you stupid squirming parasite! gahhh"
then i go up to Allechinno, and basically abuse him the same way...

so yupp. would be SO GREAT if anybody had any ideas, even if you could just give me ideas for "Lazzi's"(LOOK IT UP) that i could do in it.
or any links to videos or websites that might help me?

THANKYOU SO MUCH.

I would really love tips on how I could improve on this scene?
