Doomsday predictions?

If you consider the hundreds of doomsday predictions made so far, based on some ancient prophecy 1000 years ago by people that thought the world was flat. I was wondering how long before they run ideas of ways earth will get wiped out? They have already covered comets, aliens, viruses, disease. If you made up a doomsday prediction what would it be?

i think if i made up a prediction about the end of the world, it would be
in 2012. and a meteorite bigger than earth might hit and the humans 'll be gone.. and a supreme deity might reveal him or herself.
