Dreams about airplanes crashing?

So do you remember a couple of years ago (i think) when that airplane crashed into the water? where they think a bird flew into the engine? anyways some people should know what i'm talking about. but i had a dream i was on this bridge and then i fell off because a car almost hit me. so i jumped out of the way and i managed to grab a part of the bridge that was broke. then i pulled myself up and walked across the street to a store and then i turned around and saw this plane taking off. then out of nowhere a bird flew into the engine and exploded and it crashed into the water. then i woke up all sweaty and breathing hard. and later i was watching the news and it said that a plane had crashed into the water. i cant remember what they had said exactly but they said they think a bird flew into the engine which caused the engines to stop working. was this a premonition or what? oh and i just now made a account so i couldn't ask this when it first happened. so anybody know why that happened?
