I would call the company that built your driveway to ask them to repair it. Driveways are supposed to support cars and trucks.

I've got a new asphalt driveway. The edge is still about 2" above the gravel next to it. A propane truck recently drove on the edge (when the driveway was covered with snow) and subsequently, the asphalt edging cracked and sunk. The damage is about 20' long and is sunk about 1/2" down and goes from about 1' from the driveway edge towards the center of the driveway. What should I do now? Could I fix it, or should I press the propane company for insurance? I don't think I've got a warranty on the driveway. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Ask the propane company to have your drive fixed. The reel of hose is 100 to 125 feet long he was just lazy. The hose is full of liquid and weighs 5 pounds a foot thats why he took a chance. and no more heavy trucks on the drive.

Ohhh thats a bummer. My boyfriend Yon once got stuck in a propane truck. Actually that was right before he was arrested and accused of raping and molesting children, or something like that. Oh well no the only tim the law has let us down.

The edge of the driveway should have been edged with fine fill to keep the drive from falling apart like you are talking about. The propane truck driver didn't ruin the driveway.Go get some blacktop in a bag and fill in the low areas.Doesn't sound like they rolled the driveway out right either if the drive is sunk all the way into the center.I would nicely call the blacktop company and ask them to fix it.If they say no then turn them in to the better business bureau.
