I have a 2002 Kia Optima. As I was driving down hill to get on the freeway in a Texas rainstorm (4-23-2008). I hit alot of standing water. The check engine light is on, but the car still runs and drives. I am wondering if I have done any damage to the motor or transmission? Does it need time to dry out or what?
