Droid Eris ringtones.!!!?

Okay, so I put some mp3's on my Droid Eris and if you have one I'm pretty sure you know that you have the option to trim the ringtones and make them phone ringtones. Anyways, they only show up as ringtones that play when someone calls me. How can I make these notification ringtones.??

You would need to either download a file manager like Astro, or connect your phone to the computer, and create a separate folder on the memory card. So on the card, create a folder called "media", and then in that folder, create one called "audio", and then in that one, create a folder called "notifications". Then find the ringtones and move them to the notifications folder. Then when you go to choose a notification, they will show up as options
