Hey, so...I've had this tv for around two years now. It worked perfectly up until it fell off my drawer unit onto the floor, ever since that day, there has been something wrong with it.
Every time I switch it on, it switches on with a 'crunching sound', at the same time the screen goes brighter shade of black then back to what it would look like if switched off, there is no picture at all. However, there is still audio coming from the tv. At times, there can be a very very faint picture received but that is not always the case.
On a number of occasions also the tv has switched on with a sharper 'crunching sound' and has worked perfectly...this only happens a number of times though.
Note: There is no problem with the power cord, any cables going from/to the tv set and the electricity supply is normal.
It is my belief that I'm going to have to get a new LCD Screen for this model, but I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what's happened, because it's not even as if the tv screen has cracked etc... I'm also in confusion about who to contact about this.
If anyone could help answer this question, it would be great!
