Durable Mountain Bike at inexpensive price? (not to cheap too)?

Currently in high school, so mountain bike once or twice a month or so. Because of that I don't wanna get those super professional bikes. But dad also said if I want a bike I should get one that can last awhile, at least 5 years until things start falling apart.

I live in US, so what are descent mountain bikes that are at most $200? Suggestions to websites and stores would be great, thanks much!

I don't know, there's a Belgian brand, called Diamond, which is not too expensive, but i don't know if they go under 200 dolars. I think it's worth lokking up though. There decent and not too expensive...
