dvd burner?

Do all fairly new laptop computers have a DVD burner software already installed in them??? Meaning, can you take a DVD and make a copy of it onto another disc?

NO. Just because you have a DVD burner doesn't mean that you have the software to copy commercial DVDs.

First off a commercial DVD is encrypted to protect against copying. the easiest way to copy DVDs is to use a one button program this is a program that you press one button and it does it all with little or no additional input or user interface. I would suggest DVD fab platinum. It works well for me. If you are going to copy DVDs with your laptop make sure that your laptop is plugged in coping a DVD sucks alot of power.
