...I have a feeling its because of installing Norton & messing around with the 'delay running some programs during start-up' bit....then a pop-up says after start up "do you want to run these programs now?"...I say 'yes'...but the balloon keeps popping up...so i click "permenantly delay these items"....now my laptop will not detect cd's when I put them in...it also does not seem to bother with a few other things too (the volume bar displayed when changing volume etc)...I'm assuming these were things also on the list....
I apologise for not being able to explain this better...I usually find my way out of a hole dug on my computer, but this is beyond me!! So I would appreciate if anyone knows what the hell I'm on about here & could help me get things back to normal
