My Hewlett Packard DVD/CD Rewritable drive is acting odd. It has BD-Rom as it's detect as the icon but it's not blu ray. it spins fine but never reads it or loads. Anything on the computer, I can't get it to open up and I've even taken it out while the computer was on and the drive of BD-Rom was still there loaded I don't really know what to do now. We put both DVD and CD's in there and it won't read them. We figured it wasn't dead because even if the laser died wouldn't still at least detect it in the computer? it spins fine. it just doesn't seem like it exists.
