I just bought a new notebook and every time I try to create a recovery disk it gets about 80-90% of the way done and then tells me the burn failed. I'm using DVD+R disks (I've had them a long time but they should still be good - they don't go bad do they?).
Y'know when you get these systems they are preloaded with OS & s/w and you have to burn a recovery disk that allows you to recover to where the system was when it came of the assembly line. You can't just reload a single app.
Why does it keep failing?
