DVD ripping problem to computer?

I have been using a DVD ripping program called 123Movies2Portable 2009, and it completes the ripping process, but when I watch it not all of the movie is there. What is happening? It used to work flawlessly but no more. Is it a memory issue, is it some kind of setting on my program that switched? Give me what ya think. Also, what other good ripping programs are there out there? Thanks.
