DVD Rom, Whats Wrong? Pls help?

Ive already had like 3 dvd roms but i always got this problem.
Just only for more or less 3 months it cannot read.
What should i do???
yes...
and yes i have installed daemon tools and alcohol soft. 120%,
i got two OS in my PC, i used windows xp to install those software but now in either OS my dvd rom don't work
 
Has this always happened?
Have you installed anything like deamon tools or Achool 120%?
What OS are you using?
