I bought my husband a laptop for Afghanistan, and I was going to buy myself one after he left. Well, he told me not to send him the one that I bought him because he wont have internet service, so Im keeping it for myself. Its a mini laptop, Gateway model, and i wanted to know if there was an external device that i could buy to attach to the laptop so i can burn cds/dvds and have a little bit more storage.

Im NOT very good with computers, haha.

Sure. What you need is called an external CD/DVD burner. Just make sure what you get says CD-RW/DVD-RW, the RW means it will read and write to CDs and DVDs.
You can find one at Wal-Mart, Staples, BestBuy, etc and usually cost around $60.00 and up.
Check out the link I posted below for reference!

Happy shopping and I wish hubby all the luck on his tour!
