Ear popped and has stayed that way for hours now??????

Sounds like your ear drum could have busted, due to the cold. You should go see a doc and tell him just what you r saying on here, because if that is the case he will prescribe antibiotics drops for your ear and some you take by mouth.

What's up with my ear? I blew my nose yesterday and my left ear popped really loud and I was having a lil trouble hearing out of it for awhile after that, then it seemed to clear up and that was it i went to bed. Then today all day i haven't been able to hear out of it and it's like it's clogged and won't open back up..i've never had this happen for this long. Whenever my ears have popped due to other things it always opens back up with a yawn or moving my jaw but i've tried yawning, peroxide (i know my ears are clean and i have no wax) nothing is helping. Has anyone ever had their ear pop and stay that way for awhile?

that's happened to me before. are u sick? cuz i was sick when it happened, it lasted for almost a week. turns out that that was my side that was more infected, i had a bad case of strep. but it went back to normal. if ur not sick and it lasts for 2 more days or so, i'd suggest u go to the doc. good luck.

I had that happen to me and I needed to go to the doctor where he washed out my ear because it had a buildup of wax deep into my ear that of course I could not see.
