I am currently in my 8th month of my wireless contract with Verizon, but I am basically just paying for shiney pocket weights. Me and my wife average only 100 minutes or so between the two of us. We spend the majority of the phone time texting.
Anyway, I am currently in the 99$ Family Shareplan that gives 700 minutes to share, and unlimited texting, plus $30 for the Blackberry Data plan.
My question is this. I had to put down a $125 deposit on each phone due to little/no credit history (so Verizon has $250 of my money), if I choose to terminate my contract early, what would happen to the deposit? Would it go towards the ET Fee, or would it just magically disappear forever? What would the ET fee be normally? I bought the phones in August '09, so as far as I know, they aren't affected by the ET Fee increases that Verizon did.
Thanks.
