I am having my hard drive on my HP desktop replaced because it crashed. I need to install the OS myself (Vista) but I never made any backup CD/DVDs.
I don't need to purchase anything else, do I? The computer came with the license code so where can I find that and how can I get Vista back on there?
I assume I don't need a recovery disk because the hard drive was shot anyhow??
p.s. there are no personal files on the hard drive that I need.
