Ebay - Do you have to pay postage if your picking up an item?

I recently bought an item off ebay and its my first time buying. The guy lives in the same area as me so Im going to pick it up instead of getting it posted. Do I still have to pay postage if im going to pick it up?
Its my first time buying and Im stuck!

No, you do not need to pay at all. The postage cost you would normally pay goes towards packaging, and the cost of postage. Considering there is no need for either of those things, you do not need to pay.

No, if it is postage then you are not liable to pay it. Some charge a shandling fee if they still need to package it or something but generally it would be frowned upon.
