Eharmony question... how am I getting no new matches?

I joined Eharmony, and it immediately found 7 matches near me, set to 120 mile radius.

After a abit I decided to loosen my standards a little to make it easier to find matches, AND I increased the radius to 300 and then a 4 state range.

Yet when I told it to do a new search, it found no new matches. That just seems statistically odd since my old radius only covered 1 major city and my new one covers 5-6.

Does eharmony only let me update my search results every so often or something?
 
Eharmony limits the search results so that you can only get about 7 new matches per week. That is part of their strategy to keep you from getting overwhelmed with matches, and also to keep you coming back week after week.
