Engine Cranking Problem?

This morning I noticed that my wife's 2002 Saturn SC2 took a couple seconds longer than nomal to start. I had no issue with the engine turning over. It usually cranks within a second of turning the ignition, but today and yesterday it started to take about 3 seconds before the engine finally fired.

We recently had to have the crankshaft positioning sensor replaced along with the fuel filter. My concern is that when they messed with that sensor, they also messed with the timing of the cylinders.

I don't hear a grinding noise from the starter and it turns over just fine, and I have never had it not start yet. I'm just concerned that one day the engine will just keep turning and not fire.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
