Just had an oil change. My fluids are fine. My car knowledge is lacking but I'm learning.
My engine seems to have to work a lot harder these days to speed up or go up hills - excessively so. Almost like when the car doesn't have a regular oil change, only much worse - and I just had an oil change and the problem remains. It's been getting gradually worse the last few months.
I'm just assuming it's something related to the engine because it feels/sounds like it's working a lot harder than it should be.
I have an '03 Mazda Protege with 127,000km (79,000 miles) and I live in Canada (very cold winters/hot summers).
Any ideas for what's wrong would be appreciated.
