engine swap volkswagen?

I've got a 67 1500 CC volkswagen engine i wanna swap into a 74 super beetle because the engine in the 74 is shot. is this possible or if not what changes or modifications would be needed to make it work?

Should swap in with no problem.Only changes were in carboration and slight body changes.You can even swap barrels for bigger ones (1500 to 2300 etc).
