Eragon fans: Were you upset at the movie?

I personally enjoyed the book, but when I saw the movie, I thought they DESTROYED Eragon. There was so much hype around it, but I thought it was butchered and terrible. What do you think?
Also, did you think they changed the plot way too much in the movie?
 
As a movie, it was good. If i had never read the book, nor had an intention to, but i saw the movie, I think i would have liked it.

But because i HAD read the book, the movie was a huge disappointment.
 
Yes, I agree with you! The film was a very poor representation of the book and the plot was too different! The only good point I can think of is the sets...
