How does the production of ethanol fuel in Brazil through sugar canes affect the food prices and the Brazil economy?
Is ethanol 'good'? I have read that the waste coming from sugar canes in renewable, so that's good, and it doesn't release as much greenhouse gases. But on the other hand, it causes deforestation and other issues. So is it mostly a good method for fuel or bad?
One last thing: is it the same thing as biofuel? If not, what's the difference?
