Ethnic minorities don't really complain about us flying our flag, do they?

I've heard several times on here that ethnic minorities never complain about us flying our flag, and it's just a myth made up by the far right to cause trouble.

Please watch this short clip.

Yes you did here right, he wants to know how the local council would feel if he was to put a Caribbean flag there instead.

Why is someone who finds our flag offensive being allowed to dictate when and where it is flown? More's the point, why is he here at all?
Lol, the usual tactics at play I see. Let's all focus on one tiny spelling error and ignore the elephant in the room. Here's an idea, why not shout racist and run away?
..and of course we have the "oh, but it's only a tiny minority" line. Wouldn't be complete without that.

What it tells me is that we have gotten to a sad state, where your lot have in fact stolen OUR flag. Whilst I can understand where the muppet is coming from I'm afraid to confess that he is indeed an idiot. He's one muppet and does not speak for all people.

Decades of abuse by idiots who steal the union jack, etc, have led to this idiot forgetting what it represents. Lets be clear: it's NOT your's.

Do you write for the Daily Mail?

If not really you have missed your vocation and really should reconsider your career, your question has the the same grammatical errors to give it a slant that all ethnic minorities share the same opinions of just one man (i.e. it singular and not plural when referring to ethnic minorities) and the rest of the article underneath contains the same spelling errors as the average Mail article - it is hear not here in this case.

But to answer your question do I think he is right to complain? No I don't, flying the British flag is not offensive. Indeed I think he is wrong, he indicates that the BNP has hijacked the Union Jack and therefore it shouldn't be flown, I would argue that if he thinks that he should welcome the news that the parish council is reclaiming it from the BNP.

Same thing here in the States. Imagine children being suspended from school for wearing a tee shirt with an American flag on a Mexican holiday. Outrageous, isn't it? Yet it happens.

The BNP are basically a bunch of brain dead morons.

Anyway having said that people have the right to fly their countries flag if they want to. If people find it offensive then perhaps they should go home.
