every time i go on my computer, adds come up even when im not on the internet! help!?

so yeah i think i have a virus
every time i go on my computer an add for a free ipod, or a poker game, or a laptop or something crap comes up!
its SO annoying
does anyone know how to stop it! PLEASE!
 
It sounds like you have some spyware.

I suggest getting Spybot search and destroy or AVG or some anti-spyware program.
 
You picked up a bug, inadvertently no doubt. MalwareBytes Anti-Malware can be downloaded for free and when you run a full scan, it will find the culprit(s) and if you want, it will get rid of them. See

Sounds like spy ware. Yes' Try spy bot search and destroy. If it doesn't find anything go to file hippo and down load root kit reveler. Run it. A lot of times there is a root file hidden on your machine that can cause this. Also try Spy ware Terminator if free is all you can do.
 
Download a program called Spybot search and destroy,

Update it, Imunize your system then run scan..

its most likely Spyware
